09-09 -2024 Chasing the light - The last sequence,

This series of 21 oil paintings (24 x 20 inches) marks the culmination of an ongoing investigation into the relationship between light and space. Originally begun as a thesis project, the work is based on in-depth visual observations of the Burrard Inlet from the perspective of a bike in motion, exploring how natural light affects the perception of water. Themes of reflection, refraction, surface, and depth are central to the series.
